This article reports the full mouth rehabilitation of a 45-year-old male patient with chronic generalized periodontitis and grade 3 mobile upper and lower teeth. In CBCT, there was no bone below both sides of the maxillary sinus. We at Magadh Oro Dental decided to extract all teeth and place 6 implants in the lower arch and 4 implants in the upper arch, followed by the placement of temporary dentures during the osseointegration period.
Guided Implant Surgery is a process where dental implants are placed with the help of a computer-generated surgical guide. Before the surgery, a 3D scan of the patient’s jawbone is taken using modern imaging technology. Based on this scan, a digital plan is created that shows the exact position, angle, and depth of where each implant should go. A 3D-printed guide is then used during surgery to place the implants precisely according to the plan. This method drastically reduces complications, pain, and healing time. Traditional implant surgery relies on visual estimation and manual judgment, but Guided Surgery uses science and simulation to offer results that are accurate, safe, and permanent. At Magadh Oro Dental, we follow this protocol for every full-mouth rehabilitation case.

All-on-4 and All-on-6 dental implants are full-arch restoration techniques that use a small number of implants to support a full arch of teeth. All-on-4 uses four strategically placed implants, while All-on-6 uses six, offering increased stability, especially in cases with lower bone density. Both options are designed to provide a fixed, natural-looking, and functional replacement for a full arch of missing teeth, often in a single day.

A CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) scan is used to create a 3D model of the patient's jawbone and surrounding structures.
Specialized software helps plan the implant placement, considering factors like bone quality, anatomical structures, and the desired position for the future restoration.
This virtual planning allows for a more accurate and predictable outcome.
Based on the digital plan, a custom surgical guide (or template) is fabricated.
This guide is designed to fit precisely over the patient's jawbone and guides the surgeon during the implant placement procedure.
Surgical guide ensures the implant is placed at the planned position, depth, and angle. This helps to avoid complications like nerve damage or bone fracture.
Predictable Results: The digital planning and custom guides allow for a more predictable and successful outcome.
At Magadh Oro Dental, we believe in transparency and affordability.
Customized plans are created for each patient based on bone condition, prosthesis choice, and personal preferences.
